Our Story
Made for makers
Spain Pottery Studio was started by Marc Spain to give ceramicist a place to create and expand their pottery skills. Located on the south side of Oklahoma City, (formerly a pottery studio desert) it is equipped to provide for almost all a potter needs to create.
Our studio provides a wheel room of ten wheels. A hand building room consisting of a work space that can accommodate over 18 people at one time and a slab roller. This space also makes a great classroom for Watercolor/Acrylic, Calligraphy and any other type of instruction that our studio makers wish to take part in.
We bring together hands-on instruction, thoughtful studio access, and a love for handmade ceramics in one creative space.
Whether you are trying the wheel for the first time or building a regular studio routine, our goal is to make the process approachable, inspiring, and rewarding.
