Beginner Wheel

Start with the fundamentals of centering, pulling walls, and shaping simple forms in a supportive class setting. You start off with learning the basics of all pottery form starting with centering and pulling. In this 4 week class you will learn to make mugs, cups and plates. By the third week you will learn the basics of trimming the pieces finishing in the forth week glazing the pieces that you made in the first week.

Handbuilding

Explore pinch, coil, and slab techniques while creating functional and decorative ceramic pieces by hand. Learn the basics building different functional pieces such as cup/mug, bowls and decorative items using slabs or coils of clay.

One on One

This is you a chance to go through the basics of wheel throwing to see if you like it. A one on one lesson with up to 4 people where the instructor shows the basics of wheel throwing. A 2 hour class where you have the opportunity to throw up to 3 pieces. We provide everything you need for this class.
